Das Jazando Guitar Duo, bestehend aus Jost Edelhoff und Christoph Steiner,
hat mit seiner dritten CD-Veröffentlichung neben der Klassik
nun auch Filmmusikthemen mit Jazz gemischt. 
Zu Themen aus Beethovens Sinfonien, Ravels
Bolero und anderen klassischen Werken gesellen sich auf
dieser CD Themen aus der Filmmusik von Cinema Paradiso,
Forrest Gump, Harry Potter, West Side Story und anderen
Filmen. Die typische Klangästhetik des Duos besteht aus
geschmackvoll arrangierten Texturen für die verschiedenen
akustischen Gitarren, die fast orchestral wirken und in
Stimmung und Groove stets erfrischend sind. Eine
Besonderheit des Duos sind die dialogischen, quasi
sprechenden Improvisationen, die sich organisch aus den
bekannten Werken entwickeln.

With their third CD release, the Jazando Guitar Duo, consisting
of Jost Edelhoff and Christoph Steiner, have now mixed film
music themes with jazz alongside classical music. Themes from
Beethoven’s symphonies, Ravel’s Bolero and other classical
works are joined on this CD by themes from the film music of
Cinema Paradiso, Forrest Gump, Harry Potter, West Side Story
and other films. The duo’s typical sound aesthetic consists of
tastefully arranged textures for the various acoustic guitars,
which have an almost orchestral effect and are always
refreshing in mood and groove. A special feature of the duo are
the dialogic, quasi-speaking improvisations that develop
organically from the well-known works.
